We believe that every girl can embrace who she is,
can define who she wants to be,
can rise to any challenge,
can change the world.
Girls on the Run – Team Royle
Girls on the Run is national non-profit character development program that encourages pre-teen girls (grades 3-5) to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. The mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.
GOTR has two seasons, fall and spring, each of which require registration on a first-come-first-serve basis. The program meets twice a week for approximately 10 weeks, typically Monday and Friday mornings (7:30 – 8:15 am). The team will officially end each session with a local road race (5K). The program fee is $165 which covers the cost of supplies and a t-shirt.
Registration is conducted on-line in September and February.
Spring Session Online Registration Opens on Wednesday, 2/28 @ 12 noon! Click here to register.
