Kids Care Club

Kids Care Club is a national organization dedicated to helping children develop the spirit of charity and compassion through hands on community projects. Royle’s Kids Care Club is open to any interested student who wants to help others in their community and their world. Parent involvement is strongly encouraged and is crucial in guaranteeing success with our projects and in helping to teach our children social responsibility, compassion and recognizing their own personal power to make a difference!

Please join the Kids Care Club in supporting the BOLD Food Drive. The Annual Bread of Life Drive has been organized by the Notre Dame Club of Fairfield County for the past 13 years. We will be collecting canned goods and dry foods during the weeks of April 16th and April 23rd to benefit those in need within our local community. This year the Notre Dame Club has chosen to donate the collection to Person to Person.

Various schools throughout Fairfield County will be participating, so lets show them how much Royle School cares by being one of the biggest contributors!
We will have boxes set up by grade level to drop your donations between April 16th- 27th. The grade with the most donations will be honored by the Kids Care Club; by a monetary donation in the grades name- to Person to Person of Darien.

The following is a list of the most needed food items:
Cereal, Coffee, Pasta, Rice, Condiments, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Granola Bars, Pancake Mix, Baby Food, Canned Soup, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables.

Kids Care Club invites you to participate in The Town Wide Clean Up organized by Darien’s Beautification Commission scheduled for April 21st, approx. 8:45 to 10:30, with a rain date on Sunday, April 22nd.

As in past years, Kids Care Club will help out with the town clean up – this year we will help at Tilley Pond Park. The Friends Of Tilley Pond Park will be there as well along with a “captain” who will coordinate things that morning.
We will meet directly at Tilley Park and the captain will provide everything we need: Trash bags, gloves, etc will be provided along with donut holes for the kids.

Kindly let us know if you are planning to attend as a town permit needs to be issued in advance. It does not need to be for the full two hours – any amount of help is appreciated! Please contact Helena Croce at to attend. Thanks!
