Join us on Wednesday February 10 at 9:05am for an overview of Extended School Year (ESY) and the first part of our new parent series, Understanding Behavior, Part 1. While the first part of this meeting will review Extended School Year Services (eligibility criteria, timeline, and program descriptions) and that will pertain mostly to our families with students receiving Special Education services, ALL parents are welcome to attend.
In this meeting, we will begin the first installment of our series on understanding and supporting behavioral functioning in school and at home. In this session, we will focus on operationally defining behaviors we observe at home. Parents will be asked to complete follow up steps at home during the February break as a precursor to Part II in the series. This session will also introduce key concepts in the Collaborative Problem-Solving Approach developed by Dr. Ross Greene, author of Raising Human Beings.
Please use this Google form to RSVP and submit your questions in advance. Zoom link will be sent to those who register!
