Girls on the Run – Team Royle

Girls on the Run is national non-profit character development program that encourages pre-teen girls (grades 3-5) to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. The mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. Each session will include a group exercise, with emphasis on teamwork, which will culminate in a 5K (3 mile) run.

Program Details:

GOTR has two seasons, fall and spring, each of which require registration on a first-come-first-serve basis. The program meets twice a week for approximately 10 weeks. The team will officially end each session with a local road race (5K). The program fee is $165 which covers the cost of supplies and a t-shirt.

Registration:

Registration is conducted on-line in September and February.
